Marvin Agustin Will Open A Filipino Restaurant Named After His Mother

MARVIN AGUSTIN’s career has branched out into other fields. He hosted “Artista Academy” and will soon also host its new edition for Tweens or In-betweeners. Then he’s now also a line producer for TV5 in charge of their new reality show, “Kanta Pilipinas”, that starts airing in February. They’ve already chosen the finalists from applicants all over th country and he presented them to the press at the launch of Knorr’s new products for which he is the endorser as Knorr Celebrity Chef.

Marvin was with his Mama Teresa at the launch. Most of his 22 restos now are Japanese, Chinese or fusion, for which he won the Young Enterpreneur of the Year Award. But he’ll soon open a new Filipino restaurant for his mom who uses Knorr products like sinigang sa sampaloc mix, Knorr cubes and Ginataang Gulay Mix. The new resto will be called Maria Teresa, his mom’s full name.

But he still won’t neglect his showbiz career. TV5 is including him in the cast of a new teleserye soon. He also has an upcoming movie with Viva Films. His manager, Annabelle Regalado, says he’s scheduled to start shoot for a new Knorr TV commercial and for two other endorsements, Carbtrim and Tupperware.

What can he say that his former ka-love team Jolina Magdangal is now married? “E, ako naman, may mga anak na, so patas lang kami.”
