“But I really welcome working with other companies so I can work with other stars,” she says. “In ‘Flames of Love’, I play the youngest daughter of Dina Bonnevie and Ricky Davao. Naghiwalay ang parents namin dahil may babae si Daddy, Valerie Concepcion, with whom my Kuya ko, played by Mavi Lozano, is also in love so he’s very bitter sa nangyari sa family namin. I’m very religious here and I turn to prayer whereas my Kuya resorts to anger and rebellion.”
She has a boyfriend in the movie, newcomer Jodi Nebrida, and they both choose to remain pure before marriage. Megan shares the same views in real life. “Dapat talaga, ang sex, kapag kasal na. Kung ayaw mong mabuntis out of wedlock, then wait until you’re married before doing it.”
Just like Valerie who broke up with her cager boyfriend, Megan has also split from her own cager BF, Ateneo’s Nico Salva. She says she prefers to be single now that she’s also busy with her college studies at St. Benilde where she’s majoring in digital filmmaking.
Originally from GMA-7, she moved to ABS. What can she say now that her younger sister Lauren is said to be moving from ABS to GMA-7? “Wala akong masasabi kasi at this point, there’s nothing final sa usapan nila. We’re both of age and decide on our own. I honestly don’t know kung anong status ng pag-uusap nila.”
