The MARABOU COLLECTION - One of the greatest sculpture sales in 2012

One of the greatest sculpture sales that among others, will be including pieces by well known artists such as Rodin, will be taking place at Bukowskis on December 4.

The Marabou Collection will be sold during Bukowskis Autumn Classic Sale in Stockholm and the lots to be sold include the following sculptures from the 19th and 20th century:

- "Le Penseur" and "L’enfant prodigue" by Auguste Rodin
- "Amphore de Muse" by Jean Arp, "Pair of sitting figures" by Lynn Chadwick
- "Apollon" by Charles Despiau
- "La Banderole" by Henri Laurens
- "Silvatica" by Eric Grate
- "La jeune fille agenouillée" by Aristide Maillol
- "Emy" by Giacomo Manzu
- "Hibou" by Francois Pompon
- "Radar No 2" by Arnaldo Pomodoro
- "Guscio" by Giò Pomodoro

The entire Marabou collection, once owned by the family also behind the Swedish chocolate brand Marabou, has been thoroughly documented and has an approximate value of EUR 2,23 million.
