Zany Alabang Housewives Eliminated From 4Th Leg Of 'Amazing Race Philippines'

THE ALABANG HOUSEWIVES of “Amazing Race Philippines”, Pamela Spella and Vanessa Ishitani, were sent home in the 4th leg of the race. They looked more relieved than sad when host Derek Ramsay told them about their elimination.

“Proud na proud pa rin kaming umabot kami sa kaya naming abutin at may naipakita naman kaming talents sa viewers,” says Pamela.

Pam and Vanessa are natural comediennes. The show has made them familiar to viewers.

“They may not remember our full names but alam nila kami yung nasa ‘Amazing Race’ when they see us in public,” says Vanessa.

Pam is very open about her crush on the show’s host, Derek Ramsay. How are they now? “Naku, textmate ko na siya. And he’s really nice. Tuwing kukumustahin ko siya sa text, he always makes a reply. Akala ko nga, di niya ibibigay ang cell number siya nang hingin ko, but he did. Napakabait talaga niya. Kaya kahit wala na kami sa show, tuloy pa rin ang communication namin.”

Vanessa was not as brave as Pamela. She didn’t have the guts to ask Derek’s number. Don’t their husbands get jealous because of their crush for Derek? “No, they understand na sobrang hanga lang kami sa kanya. Ang gusto ko nga, gumawa kaming tatlo ng movie, ‘Secret Affair Part 2’. Ako yung gaganap sa role ni Andi Eigenmann at si Pamela ang Anne Curtis.”

Do they really want to have an acting career? “Oh yes. Sana nga, after ‘Amazing Race’, makuha kami sa mga teleserye.”

The consistent topnotchers in the race are Mark Dungo and Kat Tan, the Gym Buddies. They won again in the 4th leg and has so far earned P800,000.
