Alice Dixson Unlucky In Love But Currently Lucky In Career

ALTHOUGH ALICE Dixson won’t confirm or deny it, it’s easy to conclude that the rumor she has called it quits with husband Ronnie Miranda, who’s based in Canada while she works here, is true. At the TV5 Christmas party, she was asked about this by various writers and she was quite evasive.

“I can’t say anything about it,” she says. “Merry Christmas and happy new year na lang, okay?”

It’s said they’re already working on their divorce.

“I don’t want to talk about it. Kung yun ang tsismis, hayaan na lang maging tsismis. Ayoko nang palakihin.”

So it’s obvious that the rumor is true. Because if it isn’t, then it’s so easy to say “No, it’s not true. We’re still together.”

Whether she admits it or not, the relationship obviously suffered when she decided to come home to Manila to do “Babaeng Hampaslupa” for TV5. Since then, she’s been working non-stop with other shows, like “Glamorosa”, “Enchanted Garden” and the latest is “Never Say Goodbye”. TV5 really makes sure she has one assignment after another. Well, as they say, lucky in career, but unlucky in love.

Last year, we remember she even went back to Canada to be with her husband for the Christmas holidays. Not so this year.

“I’m still taping ‘Enchanted Garden’ that runs until the end of January, but I’ve also started taping ‘Never Say Goodbye’ that will replace ‘Amazing Race’,” she says. “So bale I’m taping two shows simultaneously kaya hindi ako puedeng umalis ng bansa sa dami ng trabaho ko.”
