Angelu De Leon Is The Best Adviser The New Teen Stars Of Gma-7 Can Have

ANGELU DE LEON is happy to be playing mother hen to the teen stars of “Teen Gen”, the new GMA Sunday youth-oriented show that’s today’s version of “TGIS”, which introduced Angelu’s love team with Bobby Andrews to viewers in the 90s.

“I’m in the best position to give them advice based on my own experiences,” she says.

It’s common knowledge that although she has a successful love team with Bobby, off cam, her real squeeze was Joko Diaz, who got her pregnant. That surely ruined their love team and their careers. It’s good both of them are still around playing mother and father roles.

In “Teen Gen”, Angelu is the mom of Dianne Hernandez, the new dream girl who plays Lyca. Bobby is the dad of Juancho Trivino, the new heartthrob who plays Lucho.

Angelu is optimistic that this new batch of teen stars will easily capture the hearts of the audience. “They’re all good-looking and talented so confident akong magkakaroon agad sila ng maraming fans,” she says. “At ang magiging biggest advice ko sila is to focus more on their careers and don’t devote too much time to affairs of the heart dahil makakapaghintay yan.”

“Teen Gen” starts airing after “Party Pilipinas” this coming Sunday on GMA-7.
