Ricky has not written a film script in 8 years but he agreed to write the “Pamana” episode of “Shake, Rattle & Roll 14” for Director Chito Rono. “Ito rin kasi ang first time na nagsulat ako for the ‘Shake’ series. Parang isang buong pelikula na rin ang ginawa ko,” he says. “The episode stars Herbert Bautista, Janice de Belen and Arlene Bautista who are all in the very first ‘Shake’ movie. The story is set in a haunted house.”
How come he has not branched out into directing? “May offers na ko noon pa, pero ayoko talaga. Even Nora Aunor has offered me but I told her, writer ako, hindi direktor. But I promised her na kung magdidirek ako, siya ang unang ididirek ko sa pelikula.”
