Feeling Sad About 'Bwakaw' Not Making It In The Golden Globe Awards

WE FEEL SAD that in spite of all the glowing reviews that the movie “Bwakaw” from various critics abroad, it still failed to make it to the list of five nominees for the best foreign language film in the coming Golden Globe Awards. The nominated films are all European: “Amour” (French, the most favored starring Jean Louis Trintignant and Emanuelle Riva), “A Royal Affair” (Swedish), “The Intouchables” (French), “Kon-Tiki” (Norwegian) and “Rust and Bone” (French-Belgian). We hope we can still make it to the Oscars but that’s so much wishful thinking. One really has to have a big budget to finance a promo campaign in humoring academy award voters to get a nomination.
