Judy Ann Santos Feels So Lucky To Star With Sen. Bong Revilla And Vic Sotto In 'Agimat, Enteng At Si Ako'

JUDY ANN SANTOS is glad that after last year’s “My Househusband”, she now has another entry in this year’s filmfest, “Si Agimat, si Enteng Kabisote at si Ako”. This is her second film this year after “Mga Mumunting Lihim” that won for her and her co-stars both the best actress and best supporting actress awards in the Cinemalaya Filmfest last July. Didn’t she hesitate to accept her new movie considering that Ai Ai de las Alas was the first one considered for the role?

“Walang second thoughts at all, tinanggap ko agad,” she says. “Makakasama ko sina Sen. Bong at Bossing Vic in one movie, choosy pa ba ako gayong first time mangyayari ito sa career ko at kasama pa nila ako sa title? It’s a great honor and experience to be working with them. Kung may hesitation man, it’s because baka mag-expect silang sinlakas ako ni Miss Ai Ai na ilang beses nang nag-topgrosser ang movies sa filmfest. I was honest in telling them na hindi ko naman kaya yung type ng comedy ni Ms. Ai Ai. Mamaya, hindi ito manguna, ako pang masisi. But tanggap naman nilang iba yung diskarte ko. Gusto ko ang role ko rito as an environmentalist, protector ng kalikasan. Ganda, di ba? At Ingglisera pa ako rito, ha. Kakaibang challenge nito for me kaya tense ako noong simula. Later on, magiging engkantada pa ako rito, haliparot na fairy dahil type ko pareho sina Agimat at Enteng. Talagang I had fun with my role kaya so thankful akong napasama ako rito sa ‘Si Agimat, Si Enteng Kabisote at Si Ako’. Very big blessing ito for me this Christmas.”
