Sen. Bong Revilla On Son Jolo'S Romance With Jodi Sta.Maria

SEN. BONG REVILLA is busy this holiday season not only because he has a filmfest entry, “Si Agimat, si Enteng Kabisote at si Ako”, but because he and his family are doing so many gift giving activities for their constituents since wife Lani Mercado is a representative and son Jolo Revilla is a barangay captain. “Gusto naming makatulong para lumigaya ang Pasko ng ibang tao,” he says. “Yun naman ang essence ng Christmas, di ba? Give love on Christmas Day. Pero yung Noche Buena, reserved lang for our family pati ang pagsisimba namin ng sama-sama.”

He’s optimistic “Si Agimat, si Enteng Kabisote at si Ako” will be a huge hit. “Saludo ako sa co-stars kong sina Vic Sotto at Judy Ann Santos, pati kina Jose and Wally, Gwen Zamora, Aiza Seguerra, John Lapus, Sam Pinto, my son Jolo and child stars Jillian Ward and Ryza Mae Dizon, kasi lahat nagtulong-tulong para mapaganda ang movie. We’re the only action adventure-fantasy-comedy kaya kung ang hanap mo, pure entertainment during the Christmas season, this is the perfect movie for the whole family complete with an environmental message.”

Although Jolo has yet to formally admit his relationship with Jodi Sta. Maria, it’s quite obvious they’re already on. What can he say about this?

“I don’t interfere sa lovelife ng mga anak ko. Jolo is of age and he can make his own decisions about his lovelife. Ang request ko lang, huwag silang magmadali at magpakasal agad.”
