Derek is pleased that his action-fantasy show, “Kidlat” is rating very well and full of commercials. But he’s wondering why his name is being dragged into the Cristine Reyes-Rayver Cruz breakup. “Cristine and I became good friends after we played husband and wife in ‘No Other Woman’, but I haven’t seen her for sometime,” he says.
Rayver confessed to Boy Abunda in “The Buzz” that they broke up last year yet, but it’s only now that they made it public. He said they’ve remained good friends despite the breakup and there’s no third party involved. It’s said that Rayver’s family heaved a sigh of relief after they split. It seems they’re not in favor of Cristine for him. “Ayaw nila sa isang babaeng inaaway ang sarili niyang kapatid at magulang,” someone tells us.
