“As long as may kumukuha pa sa’kin and I can still memorize my lines, I’ll go on acting,” she says. “Heto nga, sunod-sunod ang shows ko sa GMA. After ‘Munting Heredera’, I was in ‘Cielo de Angelina’ and now, ‘Forever’ naman.”
Is “Forever” similar to “Moments of Love”, the movie she did with GMA Films? “Magkaiba sila. Kasi doon, Karylle and I play different characters. Dito, Heart Evangelista and I play the same role, Adora. It starts in the 50s. The young Adora is the son of a rich hacendero in the province. She falls in love with a farmer, Ramon, played by Geoff Eigenmann. Her dad, Ronnie Henares, forces her to marry Marc Abaya so she elopes with Ramon. Marc kills Ramon who vows to meet Adora again in the future. Tumanda na si Adora at naging ako in the present time, still waiting for Ramon. Then I see paintings of my younger face being sold. Hinanap ko yung painter, it’s Patrick, also played by Geoff. He’s a reincarnation of Ramon and he keeps on seeing the face of Heart in his dreams so he painted her. With the help of a magic clock, I become Heart again, but only after midnight. Then I return to my old self again. Also in the cast are Isabel Oli as my relative who wants to steal my properties from me, Candy Pangilinan as my loyal caregiver, Saab Magalona as the new girlfriend of Patrick and Gian Magdangal as the suitor of Adora when she turns into a young woman, directed by Ricky Davao.”
