Iza Calzado'S Hardest Scene In 'Kahit Puso'Y Masugatan": The Rape Scene With Jake Cuenca

IZA CALZADO is happy about her first soap with ABS-CBN, “Kahit Puso’y Masugatan”. “Kasi it lasted for seven months and I’m thankful to our director, Wenn Deramas, kasi na-challenge nito ang pagiging artista ko,” she says. “I’m coming out of this a better actress sa dami ng emotions I went through while doing this.”

What’s her most difficult scene? “Mahirap yung pag-rape sa’kin ni Jake Cuenca. But mas mahirap yung pinagawa sa’kin before that. Kasi before we shot that scene, we taped first the scene na I’m already retelling what happened, kinukuwento ko yung mga ginawa sa’kin ni Jake gayong hindi pa ito nakukunan. Ang haba ng monologue na binigay sa’kin ni Direk Wenn and it’s good na-memorized ko naman all my lines at so little time.”

What’s next for her? “Hosting ‘The Biggest Loser’. It’s supposed to start in March. There’s an offer for a movie but we have to consider yung scheduled ko first with ‘Biggest Loser’ before we accept it.”
