No One Can Stop Aga Muhlach In His Desire To Serve As Camsur Congressman

AGA MUHLACH just returned from Korea which he’ll feature in his TV5 show, “Pinoy Explorer”, when he got the good news that the COMELEC ruled that he is a “natural born Filipino citizen”, contrary to the claims of his political foes, and he’s therefore eligible to run for public office. Another good news is that the Court of Appeals issued a Temporary Restraining Order to “immediately reinstate and reactivate” him and his wife Charlene in the list of voters of Precinct 10A in San Jose, Camarines Sur where Aga is running as congressman in its 4th district.

“Talagang gagawin ng mga kalaban ko ang lahat para di ako makatakbo,” he says. “Ikinalat pa nilang umurong na raw ako, na hindi naman totoo. Obviously, they’re really threatened kaya ako tinitira. Mas mataas kasi ako sa surveys by 26.6% sa kalaban ko. They can say what they want but they’ll have no grounds and I’m not scared kasi sa totoo lang ako. We have 300,000 registered voters but almost ½ of that lang ang bumoboto kasi alam na nila lagi ang resulta. But this time, maraming di bumoboto ang nangako sa’king boboto sila as they really want change. Ang pangako ko sa kanila, lahat ng makukuha ko sa countrywide development fund, ibabalik ko sa kanila nang buong-buo. Biro mo, maraming towns, walang kalye. So yan ang uunahin kong ipagawa. I just want to thank my co-stars na tumutulong sa’kin. Naisama ko na roon sina Angel Locsin and Coco Martin, nangakong sasama rin sa campaign sina Sharon Cuneta, Kris Aquino, Derek Ramsay, John Lloyd Cruz, Robin Padilla at Willie Revillame, so abangan nila.”
