Rhian Ramos Shines As Diwata Magayon In 'Indio', Believes She Has Recovered From Dj Mo Controversy

RHIAN RAMOS believes the public has accepted her back after the debacle that was DJ Mo. “I think nakabalik na ako,” she says. “Maraming natuwa sa performance ko as the rich spoiled girl in ‘Sosy Problems’ and now I’m getting positive feedback for my portrayal of Magayon, the lead Diwata in ‘Indio’ kaya I can feel I’m back”.

In ‘Indio’, she actually plays a role bigger than Sen. Bong Revilla who’s the title roler as she appears right from the show’s very first episode. In the pilot, she’s first seen as a bird soaring in the sky who is then transformed into human form.

“I’ll really be in the series from beginning to end,” she says. “At hindi ako tatanda as Magayon kasi ako ang magsisilbing guide at tagapagpaalala kay Sen. Bong ng kanyang bugna or fate.”

She has since appeared every single night in the show whereas Sen. Bong will appear as the adult Malaya/Simeon/Indio just this Monday night, the start of the show’s third week. This will see him engaged in well choreographed fight scenes that he really prepared for. It’ll also see his reunion with his childhood friend, Esperanza, now played by Jennylyn Mercado.
