Did he cry? “Hindi naman, but I really felt sad about it. It’s no joke to be in a long distance love affair. I guess I just have to find a way to visit her there every now and then. It’s good I’m busy with two films, ‘Seduction’ and ‘My Lady Boss’, to help take my mind off it. Surely, mami-miss ko pa rin siya. But I feel relieved also that she can relax after facing so many issues here.”
With Sarah abroad, he decided to leave his condo at the Fort and join his brothers Elvis and Ritchie at their family home in White Plains. “Wala na kasi halos tao sa bahay. Our parents stay mostly in Cebu dahil sa kampanya ni Mommy and my sister Ruffa and two daughters have their own place. So sinamahan ko ang two brothers kong naiwan doon.”
So what’s his plan for his 29th birthday on January 21 (which is today)? “I was thinking of having just a simple family dinner kung kumpleto kami rito in Manila. Bahala na. Kasi, definitely, I’d be busy with the promo of ‘Seduction’ with me guesting in various GMA shows. Buti na lang Solenn Heussaff is back home so dalawa na kami ngayong nagpo-promote nito. I feel bad that Sarah left without seeing the movie kasi very positive ang feedback sa acting niya. E, itong first major film niya.”
