CONGRATS TO the makers of “Indio” for their successful first week of showing that showed Malaya aka Simeon aka Indio being born and growing up to be Alden Richards and later, Sen. Bong Revilla. Based on the Mega Manila overnight ratings gathered by the more widely recognized TV ratings supplier, Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, the epic serye got a rating of 29.3% compared to its rival that only got 23.1% on pilot night that also became a trending topic in the Philippines in the micro-blogging site Twitter with the hashtag #IndioGMA.
“It can only mean na ang viewers nati’y naghahanap talaga ng maganda, kakaiba at ginastusang show,” says Sen. Bong. “Dapat nilang abangan ang susunod pang episodes na mas pinagbuhusan ng time and effort and budget. Daig pa nito ang apat na malalaking pelikula sa ganda.”
