FANS OF “The Princess and I” will surely miss it as it ends this Friday after a long run of nine months since it started in April of last year. In connection with this, the basketball match “Royal Fair: Final Game” of stars Daniel Padilla and Enrique Gil was held at the SM Arena recently. Daniel’s team won the tournament with a score of 100-94 against Enrique Gil’s team. But Daniel was hurt when NU player Bobby Ray Parks Jr.’s elbow hit Daniel’s chin so he had to be brought to the ER for first aid.
“I really got worried at baka kung ano nangyari sa kanya,” says his partner Kathryn Bernardo. “He had 14 stitches daw.”
Daniel had to rest for a week after this. But he has since taped for the final episodes of “The Princess and I” that will be replaced by “Juan de la Cruz”. Will he as Gino end up with Kathryn as Mikay, the Princess Areeyah of Yangdon? Find out in the show’s final episodes.
