Lovi Poe's Birthday Gift To Herself As She Turns 24 On February 11

LOVI POE is turning 24 tomorrow, February 11 and she’ll have a special birthday celebration in “Party Pilipinas” today. “I have so much to be thankful for,” she says. “Since I joined showbiz in 2006 after my dad passed, blessing after blessing ang dumating sa’kin. Hindi ako nawawalan ng projects at nanalo na ko ng acting awards both in the best actress and supporting categories. Naka-gold record din ako sa debut album ko. Last year, I did several films like ‘Guniguni’, ‘Tiktik’, ‘Thy Womb’ with Nora Aunor and ‘Shake Rattle 14’. Now, patapos ko na ang first movie ko for this year, ‘The Bride & the Lover’. And I have a hit soap on GMA-7, ‘Yesterday’s Bride’. I really can’t complain.”

She’s lucky in her career, but how about her lovelife? “Ay, hindi ko na iniisip yun. It’s not a priority. That can wait. Samantalahin muna ang magagandang opportunities na dumarating sa’kin.”

Her gift to herself is a new house. “Patapos na ang finishing and I might transfer to it soon.”
