WE DON’T usually do blind items, but over dinner with some influential showbiz friends recently, we heard so many juicy stories we just can’t resist sharing with you. But sorry, we can’t name names as we assured our friends everything will be confidential.
First story is about an actress who was hired by a producer (also a former actress) to star in a true story about a mother whose child became a desaparecido. The actress said yes but asked for a huge down payment from the producer who’s related to a top government official. The down payment was quickly given to her. Not only that, she also asked a similar amount from the director who personally chose her to star in the movie. Soon after that, she informed both the producer and the director that she won’t be able to do the film project as the network where she’s currently under contract simply didn’t allow her to. Did she return the money given to her? The answer is a big NO.
