DEREK RAMSAY is glad that his superhero show, “Kidlat”, has been extended due to high ratings and full commercial load. It’s supposed to run for only 13 weeks. Not, it will run for 17 weeks.
“So matagal pang lilipad si Kidlat,” he beams. “Very warm talaga ang reception ng viewers. TV5 held a kid t-shirt design contest and 12,800 people joined with their entries. In an outreach program naman, 5,000 kids came to see me in person.”
The show gained more viewers with the introduction of new villains like Shaira Mae and Mark Neumann as the twins Fire and Ice, Paolo as Walter/Warla and Valerie Weigmann as Enigma.
