Dingdong’s own show, “Pahiram ng Sandali”, is ending next week but they don’t know yet how it’ll end. “We haven’t taped the final episodes yet, but dapat, magkaroon ng forgiveness among the characters, lalo na sa part ni Max Cinco as Cindy para mapatawad niya kami ng mother niyang si Lorna Tolentino as Janice for having a one-night stand.”
So what’s next for him? “Di ko pa alam. But the movie I did with the Cebu inmates, ‘Dance of the Steel Bars’, is showing in May. I play a dance instructor who kills someone accidentally kaya nabilanggo ako. Sana, magkaroon ako uli ng Metro filmfest this December kasi suwerte yung two past entries kong ‘Segunda Mano’ and ‘One More Try’. I’m doing the sequel to ‘Tiktik, Aswang Chronicles’ but later this year pa. Tatapusin muna ng Reality Entertainment ang ‘Kung Fu Divas’ ni Marian with Ai Ai de las Alas.”
Was he instrumental in Marian’s decision to go into co-production with Ai Ai and Reality for this movie? “I was told about the project and I told her about it. Sabi ko, maganda, wag na niyang pakawalan, do it, so tinanggap niya.”
