LOUISE DE LOS REYES denied at the presscon of “Mundo Mo’y Akin” (that starts airing tonight) that she and Enzo Pineda have broken up after she reportedly got jealous of Enzo’s new leading lady in “Ang Kakambal ni Eliana”, Kim Rodriguez (formerly Komatsu). But when interviewed in “Startalk” later, she finally confessed that yes, it’s true, they’ve split. She said they had some misunderstandings that led to the breakup more than two weeks ago. We remember it’s her leading man in “Mundo Mo’y Akin”, Alden Richards, who first mentioned to thre press that “wala na sila ni Enzo” at the show’s first presscon where Louise was absent since she’s shooting a movie in Batangas. Louise swears it’s not Kim Rodriguez who’s the reason of her breakup with Enzo.
“There’s no jealousy involved as Kim is my friend. Siguro lang we just want to grow separately kasi, for two years, we’re just focused on each other,” says Louise. “May mga bagay siguro mas kailangan mong matutuhang mag-isa, on your own, without depending on any other person.”
She says she’s not closing her doors on the possibility of reconciliation with Enzo, but adds that at this time, it’s best for them to give space to each other so they can really evaluate the situation on their own. “It’s also better this way kasi pareho kaming may bagong trabaho so doon na muna kami mag-focus,” she says.
Someone whispered to us it’s Louise’s overprotective mom who’s the reason why they split, but she won’t confirm this. At this point, we won’t be surprised if she’d now be linked to Alden while reports of romance on the set of “Kakambal ni Eliana” between Enzo and Kim will also float. Reports of love blooming between lead actors is still the best and the easiest way to promote new shows.
Meantime, we want to congratulate as she’s graduating from college this coming April as a foreign service major at Lyceum. Her dream is to pursue a law degree. “But rest muna po ako ng one year bago ako mag-apply sa law school kasi tuloy-tuloy yung pag-aaral ko’t pagtatrabaho for four years kaya bakasyon muna ko.”
