Is Dennis Trillo leaving GMA to move back to ABS-CBN?

IT’S ‘RIGODON’ season once again, with so many stars reported to be moving from one network to another in their endless search for greener pastures. Ogie Alcasid and Lovi Poe are both said to be moving to TV5, although GMA is making a counter-offer for Lovi that she can’t refuse, but not for Ogie. Christian Bautista is said to be disgruntled with ABS-CBN so he’s moving to GMA-7. Another actor said to be leaving is Dennis Trillo, to move from GMA this April and return to ABS-CBN where he originally started. But his manager, Popoy Caritativo, quickly denied this, saying his contract with GMA is until the end of this year yet, so he can’t just leave the Kapuso network.

Dennis is also very much satisfied with his work with GMA-7. Since he moved to GMA 10 years ago, he’s given one show after another: “Kahit Kailan”, “Darna”, “Now & Forever”, “Mulawin”, “Majika”, “Super Twins”, “Etheria”, “Gagambino”, “Adik Sa’Yo”, “Magdusa”, “Dear Friend”, “Gumapang Ka sa Lusak”, “Love Bug”, “Sinner or Saint”, “Legacy”, “Biritera” and now, the toprating “Temptation of Wife” where his bida-kontrabida role as Marcel is getting much acclaim. He also gets to show his musical talents in “Party Pilipinas”.

This week in “Temptation of Wife”, Dennis is happy that he succeeds in taking Marian Rivera as Angeline away from Rafael Rosell as Nigel, who’s forced to marry Michelle Rodriguez as Chantal. But then, in front of the altar, Chantal suddenly changes her mind and declares she no longer wants to marry Nigel. This means Nigel is now free to go back to Angeline and get her back from her former husband. But Angeline has decided to accept an offer to work abroad so he tries to run after her at the airport.
