“I’m okay, I’m good,” she says with a smile. “With the Lord’s help I’m back to work. I still feel some pain in my back but it’s bearable. The day after my surgery, when the anesthesia wore off, I was in so much pain, but I clutched the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ in my hand. I told Him that I know He went through so much suffering for us. So now it’s my turn to suffer and I welcome it. Nawawala yung pain. I’d really like to thank Albert Martinez and his wife Liezl, also Charlene Gonzales. Talagang hindi nila ako pinabayaan and they were with me all throughout my ordeal. I also want to thank my doctors and all the friends and people in the industry who offered prayers for my healing. Their prayers really helped a lot as my doctors were so amazed that I recovered very fast.”
