New Movie and TV Show for Richard Gutierrez

RICHARD GUTIERREZ is definitely more accepted by movie viewers in the rom coms he did. This is his turf and this is why his past such films like “Let the Love Begin”, “I Will Always Love You”, “My Best Friend’s Girlfriend”, “For the First Time” and “My Valentine Girls” all did better at the tills than his other screen outings like “Patient X” and “Seduction”. For sure, he will be able to recover lost ground in “My Lady Boss” as he’s in his element here in his role as the rich young man compelled to work for a living by his grandpa and encounters problems with his strict and conservative lady boss.

On TV, he is also starting taping for a new show, “Love and Lies”, an action-drama directed by Mark Reyes. He plays a Navy Seal and he has taken actual training with the Philippine Navy to prepare for his role. Many scenes in the show will be shot at the navy grounds in Sangley Point, Cavite. He will be supported by Sid Lucero, Paolo Contis and Michelle Madrigal.

As for his leading lady, GMA-7 is not yet sure if they could get Lovi Poe as the renewal of her new contract with GMA is still hanging in the air. If the deal wouldn’t push through, then she’s transferring to TV5 where a new soap is waiting for her.

Going back to Chard’s team up with Marian, it’s obvious that they have very good chemistry in their romantic scenes. The public might be aware that he’s on with Sarah Lahbati (he just came from Switzerland to visit her) and she’s been on with Dingdong Dantes for several years now, but there’s no denying the “kilig” factor between them is still very strong.
