What Something Does Gov. Vilma Santos And Marian Rivera Have In Common?

WE THOUGHT Marian Rivera’s appearance in Gov. Vilma Santos’ “Ekstra, The Bit Player”, is a short guest role with one shooting day. But it turns out she shot for three days in the movie where she plays the lead actress in a movie within the movie, with Piolo Pascual as her leading man and Gov. Vi as their housemaid. And mind you, she’s not being paid for her work in this film.

“Okay lang,” she says. “Once in a lifetime chance ko ito to work with Gov. Vi at ayokong palampasin. I really had a great time working with her. She’s so humble. Siya pang nagpunta sa dressing room ko to greet me.”

Gov. Vi and Marian have something in common. They have both played Darna and Dyesebel. Gov. Vi on the big screen and Marian on TV. Meantime, Marian’s “Temptation of Wife” is on its last few weeks. Marian as Angeline splits from Rafael Roselle as Nigel for the sake of Michelle Madrigal as Chantal, so he wants to ruin his life. Angeline relents and reconciles with him. He sets their wedding but Chantal learns about it and shows up. She jumps off a cliff in desperation and ends up in the hospital. Nigel is forced to agree to marry her. Meantime, Glaiza de Castro succeeds in escaping from the mental hospital and plots her revenge against Angeline.
