Rocco Nacino Thrilled To Play Lorna Tolentino'S Missing Son In 'Burgos'

ROCCO NACINO is super busy. He’s in GMA News Channl 11’s first serial, “Bayan Ko”, as an idealistic young mayor and it’ll end this coming Sunday with a big storm and flood scene. He’s also on GMA-7’s afternoon soap, “Unforgettable”, with Kylie Padilla. He’s in “My Lady Boss” with Marian Rivera and Richard Gutierrez. He’s also doing “Ibong Adarna”, Direk Jun Urbano’s entry to the Sineng Pambansa filmfest in September. Now, he’s in Joel Lamangan’s “Burgos”, the real life story of Mrs. Edith Burgos’ search for her desaparecido son, Jonas, to be played by Rocco.

“Nakakatuwa kasi maraming trabaho, pero sobrang nakakapagod din,” he says. “Halos di na ko nakakauwi ng bahay. I prepared for my role as Jonas by researching on him. With the help of Direk Joel Lamangan, I’m sure magagampanan ko ito ng tama. I’m excited to work Ms. Lorna as my mom.”

Has he patched things up with ex-GF Sheena Halili? “I really wish magkaayos na kami and be friends again. Kaso, wala talagang time at busy rin naman siya sa ‘Indio’. Hopefully, kapag may libreng oras na kami pareho, we can settle things.”
