Bea Binene Now More Favored By GMA-7 Than Barbie Forteza?

IS BEA BINENE now the more favored teen star of GMA-7 over her rival Barbie Forteza? She has her own primetime soap, “Home Sweet Home”, while Barbie has been idle since “Paroa”. “Hindi naman po,” she says. “Pareho naman kaming inaalagaang mabuti ng GMA. I heard she’ll have a new show rin, ‘Anna Karenina’, with Derrick Monasterio, so hindi na siya bakante.”

Bea is happy that “Home Sweet Home” is now the number one show in its timeslot before “24 Oras”. As Lucy, she and partner Jake Vargas as Benjie are imprisoned in a harsh fantasy world and they need to get a magic “kabibe” to be able to escape from it. They stumble on a fun house where Raymart Santiago as Reden and daughter Jillian Ward as Jessie are frozen by the Snow Queen. Bea is put on a giant dartboard and a clown throws daggers at her. Later, the clown is split in half and turns into monsters controlled by Celia Rodriguez as Pandora to chase her and Benjie.

Meantime, Raymart as the fake Reden dumps his wife Roxanne Guinoo as Dulce. He wants their marriage to be annulled so he can be with his other woman, Rochelle Pangilinan as Wendy.
