G-Force Dance Recital Is The Dance Concert To Watch At Araneta Coliseum On May 21

GEORCELLE DAPAT started as a member of the popular dance group called Hot Legs, along with her husband to be, Angel Sy. She later ventured on her own and formed G-Force with her own regular dancers. They’re mainstays in ABS-CBN’s “ASAP” but they also appear on GMA-7 in “Eat Bulaga” and also became a part of TV5’s “Artista Academy” where Georcelle became the resident dance adviser. She has also choreographed for “Pinoy Big Brother”, “Kapag Ako ay Nagmahal”, “Sarah G Live”, “Gandang Gabi Vice” and “Miss Earth Philippines”.

Now a respected name in showbiz and better known as Teacher Georcelle, she has put up her own school, G-Force Dance Center, with her as artistic director and her husband Angel as managing director. It’s located at Unit 104, Corporate 101 Bldg., Mother Ignacia Ave QC. She has about 600 students and they’ll now perform in a dance recital called “The G-Force Project”, to be held at the Big Dome on Tuesday, May 21.

One of the teachers in Georcelle’s school is Gelai Acuzar, one of the pioneers in her dance group. She says they have 19 classes teaching various age groups and various dances from hiphop and Kpop to jazz, zumba and Latin workouts. She started with G Force when she was 18 and is now 26. G Force has 20 regular dancers divided into various groups: Femmes, Stallions, Poppers and Unique. They’ll all perform with their students at Araneta and they promise that it will be a night of fun bursting with unbridled energy from all the dancers.
