Gladys Reyes Surprised That The Serious Looking Raymart Santiago Can Be Funny

GLADYS REYES is back to playing a villain role in GMA-7’s hit early evening family oriented show, “Home Sweet Home”. It’s also her first time to work with Raymart Santiago in a TV show. “I really thought seryoso siyang tao kasi hindi naman siya yung tipong smiling face, laging tahimik lang at hindi talaga masalita,” she says. “Never ko kasi siyang nakatrabaho pa, unlike yung misis niyang si Claudine Barretto na ilang beses ko nang nakasama. But after makasama ko na siya sa taping ng ‘Home Sweet Home’, I discovered he has a hilarious side pala. Magugulat ka sa mga biglaang hirit niya dahil nakakatawa talaga.”

She plays Agoncilla Caharian in the show, the scheming stepsister of Raymart as Reden. She’s greedy and will do everything to steal all the Caharian family’s riches that Reden is supposed to inherit. To malign his reputation, she spreads nasty stories about Reden who cannot defend himself because he is imprisoned in the mysterious old house of Celia Rodriguez along with his daughter Jillian Ward as Jessie. A fake Reden and a fake Jillian have taken their place in the outside world and everyone in their family is wondering why they are both behaving weirdly and badly. Bea Binene as Lucy warns Roxanne Guinoo as Dulce, the wife of Reden, that her own father behaved similarly after entering the old house, then her dad died soon after that.
