JUST LIKE Raymart Santiago who chooses to keep silent about his reported separation from Claudine Barretto and the ongoing war in the Barretto family, Dennis Padilla, ex-husband of Marjorie Barretto, also prefers to keep his mouth shut about the nude fotos of ex-wife Marjorie posted on the internet and their family feud.
“Mas makakabuti kung mananahimik na lang lahat dahil anuman ang sabihin mo, tiyak na palalakihin pa,” says Dennis who plays one of the leads in the new comedy of QC Mayor Herbert Bautista, “Raketeros”. “Basta ang concern ko is our daughter Julia who’s being built up now by ABS-CBN Star Magic. I hope hindi siya maapektuhan sa mga nangyayari ngayon sa family ng mother niya.”
Julia has been advised by Star Magic not to make any comment about the heated exchange of words between her Lola Inday, aunts Gretchen, Marjorie, Claudine and Gia, and uncle Joaquin, and it’s all for the best. It’ll be recalled the word war erupted because Gretchen and Marjorie are allegedly defending Julia from Claudine who is said to resent her joining ABS-CBN at a time that she is reportedly making a comeback at the same network.
“It’s Mother’s Day and my prayer is for everyone to just patch things up and reconcile,” is all she’d say.
