WE DON’T KNOW why some writers are so agitated on whether LJ Reyes and Paulo Avelino have really broken up or not. Right now, they both give ambivalent, nebulous answers that are neither here nor there. But it’s so obvious that they’ve split. Because if they haven’t, it’s so easy to say: “No, we’re still together.” But the fact that they’re just being evasive and won’t give definite answers is already an indication that yes, indeed, they have called it quits. Even the people around them who know the real score have already confirmed: “Matagal na silang hiwalay.”
Maybe they’re somehow they can still kiss and make up. We’re sad for them, but we’re even sadder for their love son, another showbiz product from out of wedlock who’ll be reared without the common love of both parents as he grows up.
