Lj Reyes & Paulo Avelino Won't Admit They'Re Off But Friends Say 'Matagal Na Silang Hiwalay'

WE DON’T KNOW why some writers are so agitated on whether LJ Reyes and Paulo Avelino have really broken up or not. Right now, they both give ambivalent, nebulous answers that are neither here nor there. But it’s so obvious that they’ve split. Because if they haven’t, it’s so easy to say: “No, we’re still together.” But the fact that they’re just being evasive and won’t give definite answers is already an indication that yes, indeed, they have called it quits. Even the people around them who know the real score have already confirmed: “Matagal na silang hiwalay.”

Maybe they’re somehow they can still kiss and make up. We’re sad for them, but we’re even sadder for their love son, another showbiz product from out of wedlock who’ll be reared without the common love of both parents as he grows up. And studies show that children coming from such dysfunctional relationships often grow up carrying a lot of emotional baggage in their hearts and minds. You just have to look around showbusiness to see so many examples around you.
