Megan Young Ready To Show Some Skin In TV5's 'Misibis Bay'

MEGAN YOUNG was discovered by GMA-7 via Starstruck. She moved to ABS-CBN, while her younger sister Lauren Young moved from ABS to GMA-7 and now stars in “Mundo Mo’y Akin”. Megan, in turn, moved again. This time to TV5. She first did “Never Say Goodbye” with them. Now, she’s all set to do the new drama, “Misibis Bay”. She’s supporting new TV5 stars, like Sophie Albert in “Never” and now, Ritz Azul in “Misibis Bay”.

“Okay lang naman yun,” she says. “Kontrabida nga ako kay Ritz in the story. But I play a good role as a rich society girl who’s fond of manipulating people. And it calls for me to go sexy dahil, for the first time, I’ll be appearing in scenes na naka-two-piece bikini ako. Kaya kailangan, mag-diet, mag-work out, para naman hindi nakakahiya to show off my figure, lalo na’t si Ritz Azul, magpapa-sexy rin dito.”

Even their leading men in the show will often be seen shirtless: Daniel Matsunaga, Vin Abrenica, Victor Silayan and model Luke Jickaine. Among the senior stars in the show are Christopher de Leon, Boots Anson Roa and Vivian Velez.

So is Megan leaving ABS for good? “Hindi naman. Kaya lang, they have no project naman for me so pinahihiram muna nila ko sa TV5 para naman may trabaho ako.”
