“Magkaiba yung treatment sa love scenes ko with them,” he says. “We showed kung ano yung ginagawa sa tunay ng buhay ng magkarelasyon. Si Lovi, una kong naging girlfriend but she’s conservative so pigil na pigil kami when it comes to sex. Later on, when we finally get the chance to go to bed, parang bumulwak lahat ng feelings that we’re trying to control, so very passionate talaga ang lovemaking namin. Mas experimental ito. Yung kay Jen, mas traditional, tamer, more subtle, kasi nagsasama na kami talaga after agawin niya ako from Lovi. Pero while shooting the love scene with Lovi, tawa kami nang tawa so Direk Joel Lamangan told us to just let our characters take over para magawa namin ng tama.”
And what can Lovi and Jen say about their leading man? “I’ve worked with him before in ‘Aswang’ and I’ve just finished another film with him, ‘Sana Dati’, so comfortable na ako with him,” says Lovi.
“He’s a real gentleman,” says Jen. “He knows I’m not that comfortable doing such intimate scenes, I really felt awkward, pero naging very considerate siya and I never felt him that he’d take advantage of me.”
