Report That Chin Chin Gutierrez Is Now A Nun Are Not True

THERE WAS a report that actress Chin Chin Gutierrez (who joined showbiz in 1994 in “Maalaala Mo Kaya, the Movie”, for which she immediately won a best supporting actress award) has joined the Carmelite Convent in Tagaytay and is now a nun.

But no less than her manager, Angie Urerta, denied the veracity of this story, which means those who reported this were “nakuryente” in showbiz parlance.

Angie said Chin is just active in her advocacies, especially when it comes to the preservation of our ecology and environment. She partners with some Carmelite sisters in her eco-waste projects in some provincial farms.
