Louise De Los Reyes Just Finished A New Film For International Release, 'Island Dreams'

LOUISE DE LOS REYES has just finished a new film in English meant for international release, “Island Dreams”, produced by a foreign investor, Kenneth Au, who also created the story. Louise plays Julie, a poor island girl with a blind mother. She works as a tourist guide in their island and dreams of making it big by joining a reality singing contest. She’s paired with a foreign actor called Alexis Pettitprez who plays Zach, a visitor from America looking for a place called True Loves Peak.

“It was filmed mainly in Subic,” says Louise. “But I don’t yet kung kailan nila ire-release sa abroad o kung ipalalabas dito. The shooting took place before I started taping for ‘Mundo Mo’y Akin’.”

Followers of ‘Mundo Mo’y Akin’ would like to know if her ugly face in the story would still undergo cosmetic surgery now that the truth has been revealed that she’s the real daughter of Angelika de la Cruz and Gabby Eigenmann, not Lauren Young.

“Hindi pa umaabot yung script sa point na yun but since we’re extended for two weeks, baka may chance nang mapaganda ako,” she says. “But right now, mas gumaganda ang takbo ng story kasi, sa wakas, nangyari na ang matagal kong pangarap na ma-in love sa akin si Alden Richards as Jerome. Nagtapat na siya ng pag-ibig sa’kin at hinalikan pa ako. Hindi ako makapaniwala and I thought it’s just a dream. Yun pala, while he’s doing that to me, ang babaeng nasa isip niya talaga is si Lauren as Darlene. E, hindi na niya masabi sa’kin ang totoo kaya naging problema niyang napaniwala niya akong mahal niya ko gayong si Lauren pa rin pala talaga ang true love niya.”
