Maureen Larrazabal Glad To Be In 'Anna Karenina' After Doing 'Bubble Gang' For 15 Years

MAUREEN LARRAZABAL is now better known as a comedienne because of her regular exposure in “Bubble Gang”, so she’s glad to be part of GMA-7’s new primetime soap, “Anna Karenina”. She was last seen in a soap in “Pilyang Kerubin” with Barbie Forteza.

“Ngayon, si Barbie na naman ang kasama ko rito sa ‘Anna Karenina’,” she says. “Ako yung night club dancer na umampon at nagpalaki sa kanya, kasama yung boyfriend ko, si Yul Servo. Babaeng bakla ako rito so lumaki si Barbie na babaeng bakla rin.”

How does she feel that Ogie Alcasid, one of “Bubble Gang’s” originals, is said to be leaving GMA-7 and also the show. “Hindi pa naman confirmed. But he told us then nina Bitoy (Michael V) na walang iwanan. Kung matutuloy, then we’ll have to survive without him, but he’ll surely be missed.”

From her 15 years in “Bubble Gang”, Maureen was able to put up an apartment in Ermita that she’s having rented and her own gym in Dimasalang called Curves. “Siempre, hindi naman laging nasa showbiz tayo, so pinaghandaan ko na yan, lalo’t apat na ang anak ko. I have two biological kids with my partner at may dalawa pa akong ampon.”
