“Not at all,” she says. “I’m glad people find me effective in villain roles. The important thing is tuloy-tuloy ang trabaho ko.”
While she’s taping the show in Misibis Bay, Bicol, she also thinks of her classes at St. Benilde where she’s taking up Digital Filmmaking, the same course finished by Bianca King.
“I’m on my last year at nag-start na sila ng wala ako. Nagpaalam naman ako sa professors ko and it’s good they’re very understanding. I’m just doing my assignments, like writing scripts or doing videos.”
Doesn’t she find it hard working and studying at the same time? “Mahirap but I really want to get a college degree. Binabalanse ko lang ang time ko and I bring my work books to the set. It’s good, graduating na nga ako this year. Nagpapasalamat din ako sa ABS-CBN Star Magic for allowing me to work with TV5. Sa kanila naman, I only appear in ASAP sa ngayon.”
How is it working with Ritz Azul? “Ay, masaya ang bonding namin dito sa Misibis Bay kasi lagi kaming magkasama. She’s lucky inaalagaan siyang mabuti ng TV5 and I think magiging very successful itong show namin as it’s very good drama na ang ganda pa ng setting na world class resort.”
After she broke up with Ateneo cager Nico Salva, she was linked to GMA actor Mikael Daez but she swears they’re just friends. “I’m single, honest. With me so busy with work and my studies, wala akong time for love. I’m not even dating. Trabaho at school muna time. Wala nga akong social life. Pero kung may dumating na okay naman, di sige. But as of now, hindi talaga ako naghahanap masabi lang na may boyfriend ako. Di ko priority, 23 lang ako so that can surely wait.”
