Enchong Dee plays their younger brother in the movie, but he’s born on Nov. 5, 1988 so he’s actually older than Shaina. Angel also plays someone younger than Bea, who’s supposed to be the second sister after Toni, when she’s actually three years older than Bea in real life.
In the story, Toni is Teddie, a teacher in Spain. Bea is Bobbie, a successful New York career girl. Angel is Alex, a film assistant director in Manila. Shaina is Gabbie (take note that all of them have names that traditionally belong to men), another teacher but living in Manila with their mom (Coney Reyes.)
All four sisters from the Salazar Family are against the idea of their youngest sibling CJ (Enchong) getting married to Angeline Quinto who he has known for only three months. They try to stop the wedding and knock some sense into Enchong’s head, but we all know it’s best to end a movie with a wedding so we’re already sure how this movie will end. Also in the cast are Sam Milby, Carmi Martin, Boboy Garovillo, Bernard Palanca and Janus del Prado, helmed by Star Cinema’s resident hitmaker Cathy Molina as Star’s 20th anniversary presentation.
In real life, Toni is the one who has the longest relationship with her BF, Director Paul Soriano. They’ve been on for six years. Angel has been on with athlete Phil Younghusband and Bea with Zanjoe Marudo for just more than a year. As for Shaina, we all know she’s loveless after being dumped by John Lloyd Cruz who’s now on with Angelica Panganiban. As for Enchong, he’s been linked to Julia Montes but has never really had a girlfriend.
