Richard is also pleased that feedback on the new trailer of his movie with Marian Rivera is very encouraging. “Lahat ng nakapanood tell me na naaaliw sila and they can’t wait to see the whole movie when it’s shown on July 3,” he adds.
In the movie, it’s Marian who’s his boss. In real life, who will he consider as his boss? “Siempre, unang-una, si Lord. Siya talaga, actually. Then, my parents. I respect them and their opinion.”
Who among his parents is the bigger boss: Annabelle Rama or Eddie Gutierrez? “My mom, siempre, kasi mas vocal siya. Si dad naman, more relaxed but, siempre, at the end of the day, when my mom and I have questions about our plans, we ask my dad for his final words.”
The first presscon of “My Lady Boss” was held in mid-March since its original playdate was April 10. Then it was suddenly postponed and final release date is now on July 3. How did he feel about it? “Well, it’s all for the best. Kasi kung natuloy kami noon, tiyak na we’d suffer dahil masasabay kami sa ‘Iron Man 3’ na sobrang lakas sa takilya. At least, on July 3, smaller Hollywood releases ang makakasabay namin. Also, nagkaroon ang director naming si Jade Castro na mas mapaganda at gawing very polished ang narrative flow ng movie, pati technical aspects nito. Ngayon, talagang masasabi kong very proud kami nina Marian, Direk Jade and all our co-stars in saying na moviegoers will truly enjoy watching our film from beginning to end. Never a dull moment siya.”
