“The role calls for a boy who’s really bright and sharp dahil boy genius nga siya sa story,” says Sheena Halili, who plays David’s mom. “Robin ang pangalan niya rito kaya Binoy ang nickname niya. That’s why the show’s title is ‘Binoy Henyo’. Nagmana siya rito sa father niya, si Luis Alandy, who’s a scientist. Provinciana ako ritong nabuntis ni Luis. He returns to Manila without knowing I’m pregnant. Nang bumalik siya, wala na ako dahil nagpunta ko sa Manila para hanapin siya, pero nagkasalisi pala kami.”
This is also Luis Alandy’s comeback show after he stayed for some months in the U.S. where his girlfriend, Bebs Hollman, is currently preggy. It’s said they got married while he was there but he denies this.
