MARIAN RIVERA is still studying if she’d stay put with GMA-7, who gave her the break to stardom, or move to TV5. She wouldn’t admit it, but there’s no doubt she got an offer from the Kapatid Network as she and her Triple A Management handler Rams David was seen meeting with its big bosses: top honcho Manny Pangilinan, new prexy Noel Lorenzana and new creative head Wilma Galvante (who pushed her to stardom as “Marimar” when Wilma was still in GMA.)
Marian’s contract with GMA-7, where she is no doubt the reigning Kapuso Primetime Queen, is officially expiring next month. They’re offering her two new soaps and she’s at liberty to choose which one she’d prefer to do. One of them is said to be a drama where she’ll co-star with GMA’s fair-haired boy, Alden Richards.
