MATT EVANS was jailed for three days when his then live-in partner named Jenniline Hickins, daughter of former sexpot Coca Nicolas of the so-called soft drink beauties, filed a case of domestic violence and physical injuries against him. Matt is now back playing a supporting role in “Muling Buksan ang Puso” and he says the case has been settled. He’s now also allowed to visit their love child, a baby girl.
He is very thankful to ABS-CBN for continuing to give him assignments now that he’s obligated to give financial support to his daughter. Matt has also finished a new film, “Instant Mommy”, a Cinemalaya entry which he did with Eugene Domingo, Luis Alandy, Rico Puno and Japanese Hollywood actor Yuki Matsuzaki.
