“Mukhang may nagpapaganda sa’yo,” we joke.
“Wala nga, e,” she says. “Lovelife is not a priority.”
What if her sons Robin, 26, and Ram, 23, would get married soon? “Ay naku, sabi ko sa kanila, huwag muna. Ayoko pang magkaroon ng daughter-in-law at lalong ayoko pang maging lola, huh! Hindi pa ako handa, hindi pa ako papayag!”
What can she say about ex-hubby Martin Nievera getting a reprimand from ABS-CBN for appearing in “The Ryzza Mae Show”? “I can’t say anything. I don’t know the details. May contract yata siya sa ABS. But you know what, our fans ni Martin, hindi nakakalimot. They’re even the ones who reminded me na wedding anniversary namin ni Martin on June 28. It would’ve been 28 years na sana.”
Any regrets? “Well, we all learn to move on and make the best of what happened. Ganun na lang.”
BB was taken to the hospital a day after the presscon and Pops is worried because, up to now, it’s said she’s still there. Someone says she has a mysterious illness. Here’s hoping she’ll get well soon. Otherwise, how can she appear in the show that Pops is producing for her and Sweet if she’s indisposed?
