Her chief witness is her own mom, Mrs. Estrella Lahbati. They all reportedly were forcing to her sign a co-management contract with ICONS in ‘under the table’ deals that she revealed in her Twitter account last January, before she left for Switzerland. She refused to do so a she’s already under contract with GMA until January, 2015. She returned home after six months in Switzerland as she feels it’s time “to fix things and clear her name.”
With regard to the rumor that she gave birth to a baby sired by BF Richard Gutierrez while she’s abroad, she doesn’t want to dignify it by giving any answer. “Bahala na ang mga tao kung ano ang gusto nilang isipin,” she says.
Somehow, we feel sad for Sarah as we know how much she wants to be an actress. But now, she’s resolved to burn her bridges with GMA-7 and this surely would have negative repercussions on her career which was really about to take off when this brouhaha happened. She was already playing lead roles in GMA soaps. She has also branched out to the big screen with “Seduction”, whose box office take was no doubt negatively affected by all the bad publicity that her tiff with GMA generated just as it was about to be shown.
