The True Love Story Of Glaiza De Castro's Parents Featured In 'Wagas' On GMA News Channel

THE ANTHOLOGY of true to life love stories, “Wagas”, features a special musical episode tonight about the colourful love story of the parents of Kapuso singer-actress Glaiza de Castro. Titled “Himig”, the love story of Boy and Cristy Galura began with both of them wanting to enter the glitzy and glamourous world of entertainment. Cristy, an avid fan of Superstar Nora Aunor, was a contestant in the defunct singing search Tawag ng Tanghalan. Boy, on the other hand, was a band member. They first met when Cristy auditioned as vocalist for Boy’s band. According to Glaiza’s mom, it’s a case of crush at first sight when she saw Boy the day she auditioned for the band.

Little did she know that her little crush will bloom into a relationship also Boy fell in love.Boy and Cristy had their share of ups and downs both as colleagues and as a couple but despite their differences, the power of love rules on them leading to their happy ever after. The couple built a family with their eldest, Glaiza, successfully continuing their dream to be in showbiz. Kapuso stars Gian Magdangal and Frencheska Farr, who are both known for their singing and acting prowess, will portray the roles of Boy and Cristy, respectively. The episode will also feature the duet version of the show’s theme song performed by Gian and Frencheska.
