What’s her birthday wish? “For myself, wala na siguro kasi ang dami ko ng blessings, I’m so content with my life, wala na akong karapatang humiling pa. Siguro, good health na lang for my husband (Wowie Rivera) and our children. At sana, mag-rate nang mataas itong ‘Pyra’.”
She plays the adoptive mother of title-roler Thea Tolentino in “Pyra”. “Si Roxanne Guinoo ang real mom niya at si Christopher Roxas ang dad niya who has pyrokinetic powers. Pinapatay si Christopher ni Ryan Eigenmann, but Roxanne is already pregnant with Thea. When I learned that Ryan wanted to harm the baby, kinuha ko na at akong nagpalaki sa kanya. Yun pala, namana niya ang powers ng dad niya in pyrokinesis.”
Does she think Thea and her leading man, Jeric Gonzales, are ripe for stardom? “I’ve worked with them in ‘Teen Gen’ and they’re good. Also, winners sila sa ‘Protegee’ so it’s time to launch them. I think GMA management knows what they’re doing kaya binigyan na sila ng launching show.”
