“I called up Andi and she said it’s not true,” he tells us at the set of his hit GMA-7 soap, “Mundo Mo’y Akin”, where he plays Ziggy, the son of Jaclyn Jose who happens to be Andi’s mom in real life. “Naka-focus lang daw siya ngayon sa baby daughter niya and her career, no lovelife. She’s just working hard lalo ngayong she’s in a new show, ‘Galema’. She feels sad about being implicated in the breakup, simply because she’s paired with Billy in the movie they did with Eugene Domingo as Viva, ‘My Mama Mia’. Foul nga na nasangkot pa ang kapatid ko diyan. Actually, bata pa si Billy, close na siya sa family namin. Naging classmates pa sila ng pinsan ko, si Ryan, anak nina Tito Michael at Tita Gina who, incidentally, are now in Las Vegas to attend the wedding of their youngest son, AJ. Kasama nila roon ngayon si Geoff.”
Gabby is so happy that “Mundo Mo’y Akin”, which is supposed to run originally for only 13 weeks is now on it’s 20th week. “We’ll end on our 23rd week kasi ang taas-taas ng ratings. Pero dahil na-extend ito, naalis ako sa cast ng new soap na dapat sisimulan ko na rin, yung ‘Prinsesa ng Masa’ with Kris Bernal. Ayoko namang basta iwanan ito so they have to replace me there with someone else.”
