Robert Sena Very Positive That Wife Isay Alvarez Will Recover From Her Ailment

ROBERT SENA, who did the pivotal role of Thuy in the original “Miss Saigon” production in London, has branched out into film acting and plays the role of a scientist working with Rufa Mae Quinto’s parents (DJ Durano and Ayen Laurel) in “Ang Huling Henya”. At its last presscon, Robert was asked how his wife, Isay Alvarez, is doing now. It’s common knowledge that Isay is battling leukemia.

“She’s okay,” he says. “But I don’t want to dwell on it kasi baka sabihin ng ibang tao na ginagamit namin ang sakit niya para lang mapag-usapan. So sa mga interview, we say huwag na lang kasi we try to be very positive in our family sa mga nangyayari sa kanya. She just finished appearing in ‘Katy’ sa Meralco. Basta nandiyan si Lord na aming makakapitan. Nag-iingat naman siya. Bawal mapuyat, bawal mapagod nang husto, kasi lahat sa health niya, bababa, at ang dadami, yung harmful white cells. Basta we thank all the people who continue to pray for her, for us, and we want to stay positive na malalampasan naming lahat ito. We believe in the power of prayers.”
